Description
The regional appellation runs along both banks of the Rhône in a stretch of over 200 kilometers from Vienne in the north to Avignon in the south. The wine has matured for 18 months in large wooden barrels and is the prototype of a successful Côtes-du-Rhône. The wine's advantages include a pronounced scent of ripe, dark berries, black pepper and herbs as well as the floral aromas. On the palate, the wine presents itself with fine-grained tannin, ripe and elegant fruit with aromas from blackberries, plums and tobacco.
