Description
This wine is produced from 100% Zinfandel grapes grown in Puglia in southern Italy - on the "heel" of Italy. The wine has been aged in American oak barrels. It is a funky red wine with an intense and deep dark red color and an inviting aroma of dark berries with a hint of oak, peppermint and vanilla. The taste is rich and fruity with notes of coffee, licorice, chocolate, caramel and vanilla, and the taste lingers for a long time in the pleasant aftertaste. This harmonious wine is particularly suitable for grilled dishes, hamburgers, pulled pork burgers and spareribs.
