Description
The Puglia wine region lies on Italy's heel, and has a history that stretches all the way back to antiquity when the Greeks began growing wine. A lot of wine is produced in the area and the production is one of the world's largest. The area is best known for their Primitivo, Nero d´Avola and Negroamaro, but many, many more grape types are grown here. Casa Marrone Organic is made from 100% carefully selected Organic Primitivo grapes. The wine is very full-bodied and deep red in colour. The wine has an intense taste of dark berries, cherries and vanilla, you notice a touch of oak in the aftertaste. Great wine from Casa Marrone in Puglia.
